Job Description
Dynamic and fast-growing company is looking to add a qualified Accountant to their team! As an integral part of their finance team this Accountant will work under the direction of the Finance Accounting Manager and will assist in the financial reporting and analysis of all financial data. Other essential job functions for this Accountant include:
- Post and process journal entries to the General Ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports
- Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets
- Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of General Ledger system and Fixed Asset accounting system
- Ensure all documentation and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and applications
- Versed in accounting principles as related to GAAP
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Flexible to work varying shifts, hours and time schedules
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends (as needed)
- Knowledge of hotel casino operations (preferred)
- Ability to stand and sit for an extended period, walk distances
and lift up to 30 lbs.
