Industrial company in Bakersfield has an immediate opening for a Small Equipment Mechanic! This Mechanic will repair and service various types of floor care equipment such as walk behind scrubbers, ride on scrubbers and various industrial cleaning equipment. This Mechanic will also replace and repair various parts on other machines such as pressure washers, parts washers and water treatment equipment. This work is performed in the shop and in the field at various customer sites. Company provides service truck for site repairs and service.
This is a long term, full time, temp-to-hire position. The hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Company offers a benefit package.
Requirements:
Previous experience repairing floor care equipment (required)
Must be mechanically inclined (use and knowledge of hand tools)
Electrical aptitude required
Excellent computer skills for diagnosis and repair purposes (Lap top to PCL etc)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid California Driver's License
Clean DMV report
High School Diploma or GED
