Key responsibilities of sales and safety:
Customer engagement:
Building relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding their safety concerns and identifying areas for improvement. Training H2S Clear, Safeland, and related certification classes.
Product knowledge:
Possessing an in-depth knowledge of staffing and safety practices, including applications, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Sales presentations:
Demonstrating staffing knowledge and services to clients, tailoring presentations to their specific needs and industry standards.
Site assessments:
Conducting on-site inspections of customer facilities to identify potential safety hazards and recommend appropriate solutions.
Compliance advice:
Guiding safety regulations and best practices to ensure customers meet industry standards.
Quotation and proposal development:
Creating customized quotes and proposals for staffing and services based on client requirements.
Lead generation:
Identifying new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
Account management:
Maintaining relationships with existing clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their continued satisfaction.
Required skills for a sales and safety role:
Customer service focus: Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service
Analytical skills: Assessing needs and identifying appropriate solutions
Presentation skills: Effectively communicating safety concepts and product benefits to clients
