Job Summary:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards and customer expectations. This role oversees the quality control team and coordinates testing, inspection, and reporting processes. The QC Manager plays a key role in maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations, driving continuous improvement across production and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.

Supervise and lead the QC team in daily inspections, product testing, and documentation activities.

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.

Manage internal and external audits, including ISO, GMP, or other relevant standards.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of QC procedures, test results, and corrective actions.

Train and mentor staff in quality standards, protocols, and best practices.

Ensure customer complaints and non-conformance reports are addressed promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (master's preferred).

5+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in [industry: manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, etc.].

Proven leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and regulatory requirements (e.g., IS9001, FDA, GMP).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in quality data analysis and reporting software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, QMS software).

Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), or Six Sigma are a plus.
Working Conditions:

Office and production floor environment.

May require occasional travel for audits or supplier visits.

Use of PPE as needed depending on industry standards.
